“Orličan’s tradition reaches back to 1935, and that is a commitment — a commitment to preserve it so that future generations can build on it, just as ours has. I am inspired by the character of our founder, engineer Mráz, who said: ‘I despised well‑trodden paths and always sought my own way where no one had walked before…’”

years of experience

Traditional aircraft manufacturer since 1935

Orličan was founded in 1935 as Beneš and Mráz. The creative spirit of our engineers endured regime changes, a factory explosion in Choceň, nationalization, and the turbulent 1990s. This legacy lives on in every aircraft we build today.
